In 1989, she co-produced and starred in the film Camille Claudel. She would receive her fourth César Award and second nomination for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the film as well as a nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. Following this publicity, she was chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the world. She has one son from her relationship with British actor Daniel Day-Lewis.
