IIO Members Main: Nadia Ali - vocals / song writers. The Sunday Chronicle in San Francisco rated Move your Feet as the single of the year calling it "the best song ever". Those who pre-ordered Poetica should be recieveing their copies of the CD much earlier (around Tuesday, February 29, 2005). The album was rated one of the top albums of 2003 by Rolling Stone, NME, Entertainment Weekly and Blender. Poetica is scheduled for a commercial release around May 2005. The follow up single Rhythm Bandits has made the singles charts in the UK and Australia.

After "Rapture" was released, the duo followed suite with several more successful singles, "At The End" (including the popular "Scumfrog" Remix), "Smooth" (including the popular "Airbase" Remix), and their latest single, "Runaway". IIO's full album, Poetica, has been delayed several times but is expected to be released in 2004. "Move your Feet" is also available on the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy soundtrack. A large number of bootleg and whitelabel remixes ensued, including a highly-sought Paul Van Dyk bootleg remix . The first single Move your Feet was the most played songs on Danish radio and eventually made the charts in 13 countries including Australia, France and Denmark. IIO followed up "Rapture" with several successful remixes of the track by producers by John Creamer, Stephane K, and Deep Dish. The band released D-D-Don't Don't Stop the Beat in 2003. The name "IIO" is dervied from the Sony PC model named "Vaio", on which the duo was creating much of their early work. The band signed a deal with Danish label Crunchy Frog.

Iio best known for their 2001 hit "Rapture (Tastes So Sweet)", the lyrics to which were allegedly inspired by a meeting that occurred between vocalist/songwriter Nadia Ali and an unidentified NYC club patron prior to the now infamous lyrics being written. Both Junior and Senior grew up in Jutland. IIO (pronounced "eye-oh") is a New York City based Electronic Dance Music act consisting of producer/songwriter Markus Moser and singer/songwriter Nadia Ali. Junior Senior formed in 1998 when Jeppe Laursen (Senior) and Jesper Mortensen (Junior) got back together after their previous band Ludo-X broke up in 1995. Junior Senior is a pop group from Denmark.
