Herbert Lom

(incomplete). In 2002 he received a Fellowship of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), the highest award given by the Academy. He is best known for his portrayal of Charles Dreyfus, Inspector Clouseau's long-suffering superior in Blake Edwards's Pink Panther films. He also starred as Gus the Theatre Cat in the Video recording of the Musical Cats in 1996. He was born Herbert Charles Angelo Kuchacevich ze Schluderpacheru in Prague. His most famous television role is probably as the title character in Quatermass for ITV in 1979. Herbert Lom (born January 9, 1917) is an international film actor. In recent years, he has appeared on television only on special occasions.
