The remainder of the band tried to continue with Paint and Paint in 1984, but they broke up soon after. The show featured Chris Isaak and band playing themselves with the episode plots based on fictional accounts of the backstage world of Chris Isaak. "Love Plus One" was even bigger than anything previous, and Haircut 100 seemed poised for stardom just as Heyward decided to seek a solo career. It aired from March, 2003- March, 2004 in the United States on the cable television network Showtime. They were successful from the beginning, with 1981's (1981 in music) "Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)", setting the stage for the breakthrough success of Pelican West in 1982 (1982 in music). In 2001, Chris Isaak starred on his own television show called The Chris Isaak Show. Haircut One Hundred (also known as Haircut 100) was a pop-New Wave band formed in 1980 (1980 in music) by Nick Heyward, Les Nemes and Graham Jones with Phil Smith, Mark Fox and Memphis Blair Cunningham. The second video for the song (the first being a typical movie soundtrack video, with clips from Wild at Heart), directed by Herb Ritts, is also well-known: shot in black and white, it stars Isaak and model Helena Christensen rolling on the beach, holding each other, and whispering in each others' ears.
