Fred Dryer (born July 6, 1946 in Hawthorne, California) is an American actor and former American football player. Dryer is best known for his role in 1980s television show Hunter in which he co-starred with Stepfanie Kramer. He is known to be a conservative.

He is known to be a conservative. As of 2004, Nabors owns and operates a macadamia nut plantation in Hawaii. Dryer is best known for his role in 1980s television show Hunter in which he co-starred with Stepfanie Kramer. He was born in Sylacauga, Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama. Fred Dryer (born July 6, 1946 in Hawthorne, California) is an American actor and former American football player. He is also noted for singing "Back Home Again in Indiana" (not the official state song, contrary to popular belief) during pre-race ceremonies for the Indianapolis 500. Nabors also appeared on a number of variety shows in the 1960s and 1970s, most notably The Carol Burnett Show.

He is perhaps known for his portrayal of the good-hearted but naïve character Gomer Pyle on the 1960s sitcoms The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.. Jim Nabors (born June 12, 1930) is an American actor, singer, and comedian.
