Finger Eleven

Their latest release is 2003's self-titled album Finger Eleven. The band broke up October 16th 2004. In 2000 they released The Greyest of Blue Skies. In summer 2003, they released their second album called Kaksi kertaa enemmän, and in the end of the year a music video Harmaata lunta. They changed their name to Finger Eleven for their breakthrough Tip, released on Mercury Records in Canada and re-released by Wind-Up Records in the United States in 1998. Gimmel won in three categories in Emma-gaala 2003: best pop/rock-newcomers, the début album of the year, and the most sold album of the year. Members James Black (guitar) Rick Jackett (guitar) Sean Anderson (bass) and Rich Beddoe (drums) are led by singer Scott Anderson.Their first album, Letters From Chutney, was recorded under the name Rainbow Butt Monkeys with money won from a rock band search contest on local radio. This single features a previously unpublished piece called Tatuointi.

Finger Eleven is a Burlington, Ontario-area alternative rock band that has earned a devoted Canadian following. Gimmel's second single Roviolla was released on January 27, 2003, and it got the third position in its first week in the charts. "One Thing" (2003). In 2002, almost 85 000 copies of the album were sold, and it was the most sold album of the year. "Above" (1999). In its first week on the charts, the single rose to first in the Finnish single's chart and held that position for four weeks. Gimmel's first album Lentoon came out November 22, 2002 and just after it was published, it shot up to the number one spot in the official Finnish album chart and remained there for three weeks. "Quicksand" (1998). It sold gold in a few days and platinum in 1½ weeks.

The first single they published was Etsit muijaa seuraavaa, which was released on October 25, 2002. Other than these meanings, "gimmel" also is a slang term for slapping man's face with one's penis [source: UrbanDictionary.com (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Gimmel)]. Gimmel is the third letter in the Hebrew alphabet, and it also means the number three. They also symbolised an endless and firm relationship.

Once these parts joined together a groom, a bride, and a witness. The word Gimmel means a renaissance wedding ring that contains three parts. They decided to adopt the name Gimmel. Ushma, Susanna, and Jenni continued.

After a few weeks arguments between the girls increased, and Jonna decided to leave the band. Members of the first Popstars band in Finland were Jenni Vartiainen, Susanna Korvala, Ushma Karnani, and Jonna Pirinen. 25 girls made it to the final selection round. 454 young women participated in the singing tests.

In the Spring of 2002, a Popstars competition was held in Finland to find members to form a pop band. Gimmel was a Finnish girl group.
