Finger Eleven is a Burlington, Ontario-area alternative rock band that has earned a devoted Canadian following. Members James Black (guitar) Rick Jackett (guitar) Sean Anderson (bass) and Rich Beddoe (drums) are led by singer Scott Anderson.Their first album, Letters From Chutney, was recorded under the name Rainbow Butt Monkeys with money won from a rock band search contest on local radio. They changed their name to Finger Eleven for their breakthrough Tip, released on Mercury Records in Canada and re-released by Wind-Up Records in the United States in 1998. In 2000 they released The Greyest of Blue Skies. Their latest release is 2003's self-titled album Finger Eleven.

Dave Allen also left the band and has been replaced by ex-member Manuel Carrero of the band The Jiant, the man HE originally replaced. "One Thing" (2003). In late 2004 Todd Weinstock left the band and founded his own band, Torpedo (Band). "Above" (1999). Original drummer Sammy Siegler was replaced by Larry Gorman (ex-Orange 9MM) and original bass player, Manuel Carrero was replaced by bassist Dave Allen. "Quicksand" (1998). The line-up has undergone a few changes since the birth of the band.

The band was formed around 1994 while Beck was also playing with Jewish Straight-Edge band, The Sons of Abraham and Palumbo was in his own straight-edge band called XbustedX. The band was formed by lead singer Daryl Palumbo and guitarist Justin Beck who have been friends from a young age. Glassjaw is a five-piece post-hardcore band from Long Island, New York.
