Eva Gabor

Éva Gábor (February 11, 1919 - July 4, 1995) was a Hungarian born actress.

She was born in Budapest, Hungary, the daughter of Vilmos Gabor and Jolie Tilleman (or Jolie Gabor). Her sisters are Magda Gábor and Zsa Zsa Gabor.

Eva had five husbands:

  1. Swedish physician Erik Drimmer (married circa 1939-divorced 1942);
  2. Charles Isaacs (married 1943-divorced 1950);
  3. Dr. John Williams (married 1956-divorced 1956);
  4. Richard Brown (married 1959-divorced 1972)
  5. Frank Jameson (married 1973-divorced 1983).

Her first movie was Forest Landing (1941) at Paramount Pictures. She acted in movies throughout the 1950s; in the 1960s, she appeared in her well known TV role on the sitcom Green Acres, in which she portrayed a New York wife living on a farm.

In later years, she provided the voice of Miss Bianca in The Rescuers animated Disney movies.

Eva Gabor died in Los Angeles of respiratory failure after suffering from food poisoning at the age of 76. She is interred in the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Westwood, California.

She acted in movies throughout the 1950s; in the 1960s, she appeared in her well known TV role on the sitcom Green Acres, in which she portrayed a New York wife living on a farm.
