Enigma (musical project)

Main article: List of Enigma videos. Currently he is recording an instrumental album which will feature special guests such as members of Pearl Jam. In 1998, Michael Cretu once again teamed up with Jens Gad (they previously worked together on "Le Roi est Mort, Vive Le Roi"!) and created the album The Energy of Sound under the name Trance Atlantic Airwaves. He was active in the 2004 presidential campaign of John Kerry. Michael has now relocated to a purpose built mansion, in Ibiza, and has recently started installing a state-of-the-art recording studio inside one area of the building. After the attack of the World Trade Center in New York, Frampton decided to become a United States citizen. Until recently, he ran the "A.R.T Studios" from his mansion in the Ibiza Hills. His latest album is Now, and he embarked on a tour with Styx to support that album.

Michael Cretu is based in Ibiza. In the 1980s, Frampton returned to recording, though he has never been able to top the charts since. Every album starts with their signature horn sound mixed into the introductory music. Upon his recovery, Frampton played a part in the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band film, which failed spectacularly. However, Michael himself describes Enigma's music as sensual, not sexual. After his follow-up, I'm in You, was released, Frampton was involved in a serious car crash in the Bahamas. The content of Enigma's music ranges from sexuality (Principles of Lust), love (Gravity of Love), and innocence (Return to Innocence). Frampton's solo breakthrough was the six-times platinum Frampton Comes Alive (1976), which included "Do You Feel Like We Do", "Baby, I Love Your Way" and "Show Me the Way".

It is a sensual track, with an insatiable beat, which is based around questioning the sexual desires of the Marquis de Sade, hence the German release name of "Sadeness", as opposed to the English word of Sadness. His solo debut was 1972's Wind of Change. "Sadeness" was named Sadeness Part 1 on its single release in Germany, and Sadness Part 1 on its single release in England. He then worked with Steve Marriott (of the Small Faces) in Humble Pie, as well as on albums by Harry Nilsson, Jerry Lee Lewis, and George Harrison. Enigma achieved their first commercial success through the single "Sadeness", which juxtaposed Gregorian chants with elements of overt sexuality in a strange and unusual new way; a great deal of New Age electronica owes its existence to Enigma's first album. He originally became famous, however, as a member of The Herd and became a teen idol in Britain. Enigma's music evolved from Gregorian chants (MCMXC a.D.) to ethnic chants (The Cross of Changes), to modern sounds and beats (Screen Behind the Mirror, Voyageur). Peter Frampton (born April 22, 1950) is a British musician, best known today for his solo work in the mid-1970s as an "arena rocker".

Before the album was released, Michael was cautious of the response towards the upcoming album, decided to forgo mentioning his real name and credited himself as Curly M.C. Almost Famous as Reg. in December 1990. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band as Billy Shears. Enigma was formed by Michael and released their first album, MCMXC a.D. Sgt. The pair have also worked together under the name Sandra. Wind of Change (1972).

Enigma is a musical project, that was started by Michael Cretu and his wife Sandra Cretu in 1990. Michael is both the composer and the producer; Sandra often provides vocals on Enigma tracks.
