Emily Procter (born October 8, 1968 in Raleigh, North Carolina) is an American actress.

Procter attended the East Carolina University. She tried to get in the theatre department, but it was full. After graduation she moved to Los Angeles and landed a number of small roles in films such as Jerry Maguire (1996). Then she played in "The West Wing"(1999).
