Elizabeth Berkley (born July 28, 1972 in Farmington Hills, Michigan) is an American actress.
Berkley is best known for her role as Jessie Spano in the sitcom Saved by the Bell, which she played from 1989 to 1992.
In 1995, she played the lead role, Nomi, in the movie Showgirls. The sex and nudity-laden movie, given an NC-17 rating in the U.S., was a box-office dud and effectively ruined her career.

Erbe was cast as Lynn Redgrave's daughter on the television sitcom Chicken Soup as an undergraduate student at New York University.
