He also made several guest appearances in the cult TV satire The Larry Sanders Show, playing himself, and he featured memorably in the final episode of the series, performing a parody of Sharon Stone's infamous 'flashing' scene from Basic Instinct. In the 1990's he appeared in 38 films, mainly "made for TV" productions. Before The X-Files, Duchovny had a memorable recurring role as a transvestite DEA agent on the series Twin Peaks. His most famous acting roles include Quicker Than the Eye (1989), High Velocity (1977), Voyage of the Damned (1976), Capone (1975), The Bridge at Remagen (1969), A Rage to Live (1965), and Anatomy of a Murder (1959).

Their second child, a son, Kyd Miller Duchovny, was born June 15, 2002. He has had a long and varied acting career, with spells as an accomplished director too. On April 24, 1999 Téa gave birth to a daughter, Madelaine West Duchovny. However he lost out on the film role to Paul Newman. He married actoress Téa Leoni on May 6, 1997. He studied at the Actor's Studio in the 1950's and starred in various Broadway productions, most notably "Cat on a hot tin roof". Duchovny is a graduate of Princeton University and also holds a Master's degree in English Literature from Yale University. Ben Gazzara, born Biagio Anthony Gazzara, (August 28, 1930), is an actor born in New York City, he grew up on New York's tough Lower East Side.

David William Duchovny (born August 7, 1960 in New York City) is an American television and film actor, most famous for playing the character of FBI agent Fox Mulder on The X-Files TV series. Duchovny means "spiritual" in Russian (Духовный). He is a vegetarian.
