Christina Vidal

Christina Vidal (born 1st January 1984) is a Puerto Rican actress. She plays Taina Morales, who is also a teen from Puerto Rico but, just like Vidal in real life, a resident of New York.

Vidal, who used to take the train to school in the Queens area of Whitestone, where she grew up, did not plan on becoming an actress when she was growing up. Instead, she wanted to be a singer and dancer, and by the age of nine, she was quite experienced in front of the cameras, but only with her dancing and singing. Then, one of her teachers told her there was an audition for a movie, Life With Mikey, starring Michael J. Fox, and she auditioned, getting the part of Angie Vega in it.

Apart from being Puerto Rican and having to take a train to school, Christina and her character Taina share one more trait: Like Taina, Christina used to attend the Performing Arts School Of New York when she was younger.
