His first acting role was in 1983 in a British commercial for Pac-Man cereal. Bickford died in Los Angeles, California. He does not eat red meat (reputedly due to reading the book Charlotte's Web). Unfortunately, this association did not work out, and Bickford became an independent actor for several years.
