Caitlin Clarke

Caitlin Clarke (May 3, 1952 - September 9, 2004) was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

A US stage and film actress of the 1980s and 1990s, she was best known for her film role of Valerian in the 1981 fantasy film Dragonslayer, and for her stage role of Charlotte Cardoza in the 1998-1999 Broadway musical Titanic. She died after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

The significant break for Dana occurred when she was cast as Colleen McMurphy on China Beach, airing from 1988 to 1991, bringing intense media attention to the actress. The next few years consisted of small parts in various films and TV guest spots, including 3 notable episodes on Magnum P.I. and an appearance on Moonlighting (TV series).. Her early TV work included As the World Turns and Love of Life, then going on to perform in A Life on Broadway in 1980.
