Bowling for Soup is a Denton-based (originally Wichita Falls) punk-pop band formed in 1994, best known for their singles "Girl All The Bad Guys Want" in 2002 on Drunk Enough to Dance and "1985" (originally written by SR-71) in 2004 on Hangover You Don't Deserve. The band's name is derived from comedian Steve Martin's "Bowling for Shit" routine from his 1978 comedy album, Wild and Crazy Guy.

The band members are vocalist/guitarist Jaret Reddick, guitarist/vocalist Chris Burney, bassist Erik Chandler, and drummer Gary Wiseman.

The band members are vocalist/guitarist Jaret Reddick, guitarist/vocalist Chris Burney, bassist Erik Chandler, and drummer Gary Wiseman. In 2005 she wrote the song "Money for Nothing" for Swedish pop singer Darin Zanyar. The band's name is derived from comedian Steve Martin's "Bowling for Shit" routine from his 1978 comedy album, Wild and Crazy Guy. Her US breakthrough came in 1996 with the release of the singles You've Got That Something and Show Me Love who both ended up on the Billboard top 10. Her following album My Truth was not released in the US since her American record company didn't think the album any potential hits. Robyn Carlsson (born June 12, 1979) is a Swedish singer and songwriter.
