Black Label Society

Black Label Society is a heavy metal band and the brainchild of guitarist/vocalist/pianist/songwriter Zakk Wylde of Ozzy Osbourne's band. In the late 1990s, following the album Ozzmosis, Wylde's mainstay with Osbourne took to the wayside as Ozzy went on what seemed like an endless hiatus. This gave Wylde the opportunity to produce a number of his own side projects, including Pride and Glory, "Zakk Wylde's Book of Shadows," and finally, the longest lived: Black Label Society. Recruiting a band at the inception of Osbourne's world-famous Ozzfest, Zakk Wylde now plays with the Ozzy Osbourne Band as well as Black Label Society on tour.
