Billy Talent won the award for best new music group at the 2004 Juno Awards. Their second son Diezel Ky was born in 2003. The name was was inspired by the name of a guitarist in the the film and novel Hard Core Logo(written by Michael Turner) who was named Billy Tallent. She and her husband, Keri Lewis, also had their first child, a son Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis, that same year. None of the actual band members are named Billy Talent. Braxton has also appeared on Broadway in two Disney shows, "Beauty & the Beast" and "Aida". The group soon changed rechristened themselves Billy Talent and released the EP Try Honesty in 2001. In 2001, Braxton made her acting debut in the film Kingdom Come.
