Bill Bixby

Bixby himself died of prostate cancer. In the summer of 2003, Gary Busey starred in the 13-episode reality show I'm with Busey on Comedy Central. In 1981, his six year old son Christopher died suddenly and shortly afterwards his actress wife Brenda Benet shot and killed herself. In his later years Busey has become obsessed with his health (perhaps as a result of a wild lifestyle as a youth), adhering to a strict exercise and diet regime in an attempt to maintain his physical and mental abilities. Bixby also experienced tremendous personal tragedy as well. He is listed as one of the university's "outstanding alumni.". He directed many television episodes and motion pictures. Busey attended Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, where he became interested in acting.

Bixby was also a very acclaimed director after the cancellation of The Incredible Hulk. Despite this, many consider his most noteworthy role as Buddy Holly in The Buddy Holly Story, for which he received an Oscar nomination. He was born in San Francisco, California and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. He is widely sought after for his intricate knowledge of martial arts.
