She is probably best known for her roles in Ghostbusters and in the television sitcom, Designing Women, but has done a wide variety of prominent roles in both television and film. Today, Potts continues as a dedicated alumna and Board Member of Stephens College. She has been instrumental in fundraising efforts for the college for many years.
