Bancroft has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6368 Hollywood Blvd. Carter has been engaged to Burton since 2001. She acted opposite Brooks in his 1983 remake of To Be or Not to Be. She has one son, Billy-Ray, born October 4, 2003, fathered by Tim Burton who she met while filming Planet of the Apes. In 1964 Bancroft married Mel Brooks, whom she had met on a talk show.
