Anna Neagle

In British films, she played everything from Queen Victoria to war heroine Odette Hallowes. Her sister Dedee Pfeiffer is also an actress. Anna had a long career on the English stage and screen, ranging from a role in the chorus of Charlot's revue in 1925 to Charlie Girl in 1965. As a singer, she became most widely known with her role in The Fabulous Baker Boys. She was born Marjorie Robertson in London. Her most recent work includes roles in the movies Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, What Lies Beneath, White Oleander, and I Am Sam.
