She married Jean-Luc Godard on March 3, 1961 and divorced in 1964. On July 16, 2004, General Hospital aired a tribute to Lee by holding a memorial service for her character. At age 18 she came to Paris, met Coco Chanel and Pierre Cardin and became a model. On May 21, 2004, she was posthumously awarded a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award; she was scheduled to receive the award for months, but she died before she could receive it.
