Angie Harmon

Harmon and Sehorn were married on June 9, 2001. She soon focused her main energies on the stage, however, and returned to the screen only occasionally. Harmon is currently married to professional football player Jason Sehorn with whom she had been engaged since a March 13, 2000 marriage proposal on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, a popular television talk show program. She was nominated for an Academy Award for her turn as a cynical photographer in The Philadelphia Story. A native of Highland Park, Texas, Harmon's parents were professional fashion models Larry and Daphne Harmon. She quickly became a leading lady in MGM's "B" unit, usually playing sophisticated, worldly roles. Angie Harmon or Angie Sehorn, formerly Angela Michelle Harmon (born August 10, 1972), is an American television and movie actress and fashion model who rose to fame as Abbie Carmichael on the television drama Law & Order, a role she played from 1998 to 2001. She obtained some stage roles with touring companies and was noticed by MGM, which signed her and with whom she made her film debut in 1937.
