Alyssa Jayne Milano (born December 19, 1972) is an American actress. She is currently appearing in The WB program Charmed. Milano was born to Tom and Lin Milano and has a younger brother, Cory, who is also an actor. One of her first acting roles was in the television program Who's the Boss? with Tony Danza.

For the majority of her career Milano was known for her role on "Who's the Boss?", something which she tried to shed by appearing in many very adult film roles. Many of these required nudity or very graphic sex scenes. Many actresses do not manage to escape the stigma of such a career turn, but Milano redeemed herself with her success in "Charmed."

Milano is also an accomplished singer and recording artist, though not in her home country of America. She has released 5 albums that have all reached sales of over 1 million copies in Japan.

In 1989 her image was used to develop the character of Ariel in The Little Mermaid Disney's movie.
