Allison Mack

In 2000, she starred in two short-lived series: The Nightmare Room and The Opposite Sex. Her filmography includes Eric Stoltz's directorial debut My Horrible Year!, where she plays a girl who turns sixteen amid turbulance in her life. She died 22 January, 2004 at the age of 81 from lung cancer and was interred in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California. Her portrayal gave her much attention. In 1979 she astounded audiences in the Broadway show Sugar Babies, and took a role in David Lynch's movie Mulholland Dr.. Her first major TV role came in an episode of the WB series 7th Heaven, where she played a teenager who abuses her wrist and inflicts wounds to it. Her film career effectively ended in 1956, but she remained active in the theatre. Mack's acting career began at the age of 4 doing commercials for "German Chocolate". She grew up in Houston, and took up dancing to help exercise her legs to help her rickets.

She and costar Kristin Kreuk have become close friends. Her father insisted on the name Johnnie, but she was often called Annie. She currently stars as Chloe Sullivan on the WB series Smallville. Miller was famed for her speed in tap dancing; she claimed to be able to tap 500 times per minute. She then began studying at The Young Actors Space in Los Angeles when she was 7. She became famous for her roles in films such as Kiss Me Kate, Easter Parade and On the Town. She was born in Germany, but moved to the United States when she was two. She was given a contract with RKO at the age of thirteen (she had told them she was eighteen).
