Allison Mack

In 2000, she starred in two short-lived series: The Nightmare Room and The Opposite Sex. Her filmography includes Eric Stoltz's directorial debut My Horrible Year!, where she plays a girl who turns sixteen amid turbulance in her life. Although they divorced in 1975, they re-married in 1988, seven years before he died in 1995. Her portrayal gave her much attention. In 1967, Sarah Miles married the British playwright Robert Bolt, who wrote the screenplay for the film Lady Caroline Lamb, in which she starred. Her first major TV role came in an episode of the WB series 7th Heaven, where she played a teenager who abuses her wrist and inflicts wounds to it. From time to time she retired for a few years, but was always available for roles on stage, where she is acclaimed for her performances. Mack's acting career began at the age of 4 doing commercials for "German Chocolate". Miles has been acting since then in movies and also in TV films.

She and costar Kristin Kreuk have become close friends. After having been out of sight for several years acting in a variety of theater plays, she made in 1970 an outstanding performance in the lead role of David Lean's Ryan's Daughter, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. She currently stars as Chloe Sullivan on the WB series Smallville. The following years she became a popular actress of New Wave with her roles in Joseph Losey's The Servant and in Michelangelo Antonioni's Blow Up. She then began studying at The Young Actors Space in Los Angeles when she was 7. Shortly after her drama studies, Miles had her film debut in 1962 as a precocious schoolgirl in Terms of Trial, opposite Laurence Olivier. She was born in Germany, but moved to the United States when she was two. At the age of 15 she enrolled at RADA, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.
