Alice Deejay

Alice Deejay is a Dutch dance music act, front by Judith Pronk (born December 8, 1973, a dance music DJ from The Netherlands.

Trained in ballet from the age of 6, Pronk trained to the level of teacher, but did not take it up as a career path. At the age of 18, she began working in the nightclubs of Amsterdam.

The groups first, and to date only album, Who Needs Guitars Anyway? was released on April 11, 2000, and the first single off the album Better Off Alone charted highly in many countries across Europe.

Later singles off the album failed to do so well, except in the UK where they all entered the top 20. The band is often seen as a one hit wonder due to this.

The group has not performed publically since November 9, 2002, when they played a gig in Utrecht.
