Accept

Accept is a German heavy metal band which was formed in 1977. Its main membership consisted of Wolf Hoffman (guitar), Peter Baltes (bass), Udo Dirkschneider (vocals), and Stefan Kaufmann (drums). Jorg Fischer (rhythm guitar) was also a founding member of the band but left in the 1980s, and returned briefly for the 1985 and 1986 recordings. Herman Frank filled his space during the absence. The 1989 recording had David Reece on vocals and Jim Stacey on rhythm guitar. The group broke up after releasing their last studio album, Predator, in 1996. Udo Dirkschneider returned to U.D.O. (founded 1987) after the break-up. Band was reunited again in 2005.

Band was reunited again in 2005. The group has now reunited and is touring, and a new album is reportedly in the works. (founded 1987) after the break-up. After the group broke up in 1996, Speech released a solo album, but sales were poor. Udo Dirkschneider returned to U.D.O. The follow up was 1994's Zingalamaduni, which did very well with some critics but was panned by many others, and the album sold poorly. The group broke up after releasing their last studio album, Predator, in 1996. The group won a Grammy for Best Rap Album and Best New Artist, and were also Band of the Year for Rolling Stone.
