4 Non Blondes

4 Non Blondes was a 1990s alternative rock band. Its most notable member is the lead vocalist, Linda Perry, who has done solo work and has produced songs on Pink and Christina Aguilera's latest albums.

4 Non Blondes had a hit single in 1993 with "What's Up". A year later, DJ Miko remixed the track as a dance song and it became a hit again, on radio and in the clubs.

In 1995, 4 Non Blondes contributed the song "Misty Mountain Hop" to the Encomium tribute album to Led Zeppelin. Linda Perry went solo in 1996 and the group disbanded after recording, but not releasing, their second album.

He toured Britain and then, with Buddy Holly, toured Australia. He followed up with four songs that made it into the Top 20 in 1958, making him one of the biggest teen idols of the time. "Diana" is one of the best selling 45s in music history. The song, "Diana," brought Anka instant stardom as it rocketed to number one on the charts.

Anka began singing as a child and, encouraged by his parents, at age 14 he recorded his first single, "I Confess." In 1957 he went to New York city where he auditioned for ABC, singing a lovestruck verse he had written to a former babysitter, Diana Ayoub.
