All albums released on the Def Jam record label. In 2004, Andrew drummed with To Live and Shave in L.A., a band featuring Weasel Walter, Thurston Moore and Tom Smith. Nice retired and opened a baseball memorabilia store in Cooperstown, New York. So far, the show is a hit. MC Serch went on to work at Wild Pitch, a now defunct label, then founded Serchlight Productions. In 2004, MTV2 gave Andrew his own reality show, Your Friend, Andrew WK. Neither act achieved much popularity. It also spawned the hit single, "Tear It Up".

Nice and Rich teamed up as Prime Minister Pete Nice & DJ Daddy Rich, and released Dust to Dust in 1993. This did not stop it from being a hit, though, and it was an even bigger smash than I Get Wet. MC Serch went solo in 1992 and released Return of the Product, which includes the second major label recording of Nas, a now legendary rapper. In spite of Andrew's party-hearty debut, The Wolf was more of a mature effort, with insightful lyrics and more of a melodic sound. Whereas Vanilla Ice was regarded as a culture thief who watered down the sound of rap, 3rd Bass managed to identify themselves as unambiguously white, but still respectful of hip hop's traditions. In late 2003, along with all the other hair band revival artists he spawned, he released a sophomore album, The Wolf. The track critical of Vanilla Ice, "Pop Goes the Weasel", was the group's biggest chart single, and helped separate the two phenomena of Ice and 3rd Bass. In 2002, he re-recorded his old song "We Want Fun" for the soundtrack of Jackass: The Movie.

In 1991, 3rd Bass released Derelicts of Dialect, which included vicious teasing of Vanilla Ice, as well as guest appearances by KMD, Chubb Rock, and Nice & Smooth. He also recorded an original song for KitKat chocolate wafers entitled 'Gimme a Break'. Sever, Prince Paul and the Bomb Squad produced The Cactus Album (aka Cee/D), a critically acclaimed debut LP. His work also showed up in several commercials: the opening track, 'It's Time To Party', was featured in a commercial for Hotwire.com, a Coors spot, and an Expedia.com ad. Sam Sever, a producer, convinced Nice and Serch to work together in 1987. I Get Wet was considered one of the best albums of the year, with the songs "Party Hard" and "She is Beautiful" becoming smash singles. MC Serch rapped at clubs and block parties and released a single called "Hey Boy" on Idlers, an independent label. That summer, he played Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest, along with acts such as Down, Black Sabbath, and System of a Down.
